Self-love is a vital practice. If self-love is an elusive quality for you there are several simple practices to connect to that part of yourself and begin to heal that rift. To me this means learning to love and embrace the parts of ourselves we might not like.
Before your week really gets going check-in with yourself. How’s your energy? How’s your breath? Your breath is the perfect barometer for your emotional state. Is your breath fast, or slow? Cooling or Heating? Deep or shallow? At ease or laborious? Mouth or nose? Which nostril is dominant? This breath observation can tell you so much. That insight can empower you to alter your energy so you can remain or obtain balance for best health, emotions and peace of mind in all moments.
